Not your bra size! Take the tape around your back and bring it across the fullest part of your bust.
Your arms should be relaxed, down at your sides.
You must wear a bra when taking this measurement.
Waist -
This is the smallest part of your waist. Typically it's an inch or so above your belly button.
Also known as the natural waistline.
Hips -
This is the widest part of your hips, across the hipbone.
Measurement is taken approximately 7 inches below the natural waistline.
This measurement is not needed for full gowns.
Natural Height -
Your height from head to toe.
Hollow to hem -
Start the tape at the hollow at the base of your neck and measure down to where you want the hem.
Also, be sure you are wearing the same height heel you'll wear on your wedding day.
Bust Points -
This is the length between your nipples
Arm Girth -
Relax your arm and measure around the largest part of the upper arm.
Arm Length -
Start the tape at your shoulder down to your hand.

The below is just a guide. We recommend that whenever possible you get one of our expert Dream Dresses Agents or a qualified seamstress to measure your dress size. Always get someone else to make the measurements for you: measuring yourself will give inaccurate numbers and could lead to disappointment. Measure with undergarments similar to those you will wear with your dress; do not measure over other clothing.
I just wanted to say a big thank you to you all at Dream Dresses. I am so happy with my dress and the service was exceptional. I was a little worried about buying online as you don't get to see anyone or any samples, but when I called it was explained that one of your local agents would call on me. That's where I met Sharon who I can't praise highly enough. She had some beautiful sample dresses with her and I could see the quality of the dresses were excellent. Together we went through your entire range until I was satisfied with the final choice of dress. Sharon was sooo.. patient and professional. I chose my dress, material, colour and was measured by Sharon. When my dress arrived I was over the moon it is absolutely beautiful fits perfectly and the price was amazing to, I saved a fortune.
Thank you all at Dream Dresses.
